PRACTICAL HOMESCHOOLING MATHS DIVISION

You’ll know if you visit regularly that Juliette has been learning maths division. I’ve been using the maths division board game I put together for her. If you haven’t downloaded it, give it a try it sure is fun! And it’s FREE!

It’s been great today we did division by 3. Again she used her counting bead for the first third of the game, then calmly packs it away and says, “I’ll just use my head.”

It was great, fantatsic. To watch a child that hated maths before, really enjoying it. To the point that after we had played 2 games she took her teddy to her bedroom, and they played the division board game together, each taking a turn.

Practical Homeschooling works every time.

StJohn revised his first 2 numbers today, both 1 & 2. He said he would like to practise them again before doing the number 3. That’s definitley an advantage of Homeschooling. If a child doesn’t feel ready then they can go at their own speed! No pressure.

I’m now off to have a walk around our security estate in the middle of the polluted city. Most probably not as healthy as it sounds!LOL!

Blessings as you Homeschool! If you’re not Homeschooling, I only have one question for you, “Why Not?”
