HOMESCHOOL - ADDING A BIT OF CULTURE

2 Lots of Good News!
Juliette is so much better today. Thank you Patrick Holford
! Yesterday she was so ill, today she woke up, with a nasty cough remaining, but no temperature, hardly a sniffly nose. Wow! Her immune system was given what it needed to fight and she’s done it. It was a great way to talk about your bodies immune system and how it works. Always ready for a bit of Practical Homeschooling right?
The other bit of Good News. My friend in Cape Town. She’s sent us 4 tickets to see The Lion King Musical tonight! I so wanted to go and to add a bit of “culture” in the form of a play for the kids. Homeschooling for me means making sure they have a well rounded classical education as well. The movies are great but they’re not exactly filled with culture!
I was planning on buying the tickets at the end of the month when John gets paid, as they are soooo expensive. And then Sunette phoned me to say they’re on their way up!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I don’t know what to say. It meant so much.
That’s why it was so important to get Juliette well. This is a fantastic opportunity to see a Broadway play, right here in deepest darkest Africa!
We’re all so excited!
No school today, Jules is resting and recovering, doing Playdough! She’ll have a nap this afternoon, then be bundled up to go and see The Lion King!
