HOMESCHOOL HOLIDAYS
Hi Everyone,
The kids and I weren’t planning on taking a holiday yet, but then things changed in our lives on Tuesday last week.
I could see they were feeling tired. I was exhausted, and Homesick as anything. I miss Cape Town! We watched the DVD The Secret, and had a life changing experience. I made a decision there and then. This is it I’m going home. ASAP!
John and I chatted, we picked an area in rural Cape Town. I did a search on the internet, and found it. A piece of land we could afford. We bought it on Friday this week. Now we can’t go home for a while, because of John’s job and of course we need to build a house! It in a place called “Hemel en Aarde Vallei” which translates in english to Heaven and Earth Valley. I loved the name alone, before I saw the mountains, trees and valleys.
We got so excited, we decided to take a holiday. We’ve been out for dinner, to see the new Shrek movie and out for lunch under the trees in a beautiful restaurant. We deserved it! And I’ve been working on our site.
But we’ll be busy again from Tuesday next week. The kids are already asking for worksheets and craft activities! Give me a break guys!
If you’re on holiday, have a good one and rest as much as possible. Take the time to dream, who knows what will come true….
